Seamus O’Dalaigh - Managing Director

Seamus O’Dalaigh, originally from Listowel, Co. Kerry, graduated from UCC in 1996 with a B.Sc. in Earth Science. He then attended UCD and gained a M.Sc. in Environmental Resource Management. After graduating from University he joined Sita Suez in 1999. He co founded Horizon Environmental in 2003 and is currently the Managing Director for Horizon with special responsibility for Business Development and Health & Safety.

Mathew Kilcawley - Sales Director

Mathew Kilcawley, originally from Enniscrone Co. Sligo, and now living in Rush Co. Dublin. He is a cofounder and Sales Director of Horizon Environmental. He is a fully qualified Civil Engineer (B.Eng.) and he also holds a Higher Diploma in Water Management. Mathew spent several years working in the UK and Ireland as an Engineer, joining Bord na Mona in 1995 in its Environmental Division, before entering the Drain Maintenance sector in 1997.

Gavan Doyle - Operations Director

Gavan Doyle, originally from Swords Co. Dublin and now residing in Malahide, is a co founder and Operations Director fro Horizon Environmental. He has had eleven years experience within the petrochemical industry, prior to entering the Environmental Services sector in 1998. Gavan has a Higher Diploma in Business Studies from the IMI.

Andrew Tomaszewski - Operations Manager

Andrew Tomaszewski is the Operations Manager for the Liquid Waste Division, and has been with Horizon since 2004. Andrew plays a pivotal role in Horizon with responsibility for the vacuum tankers, and CCTV surveys and pipe lining in the West of Ireland.

Frank Barnes - Financial Controller

Frank Barnes is the Financial Controller for Horizon Environmental. Originally from Crumlin, he left with his family as a teenager to Manchester, and arrived back to Ireland 8 years ago. Frank is responsible for the daily management of cash, debtors, creditors and provision of monthly management accounts. He is a fully qualified accountant and lives with his wife Pauline in Finglas.

Bernadette Walsh - Office Administrator

Bernadette Walsh is the Office Administrator and has been with Horizon since 2003. Bernadette carries out the office duties such as invoicing, wages and assisting Frank in financial controlling.

Ann Loughran - Credit Control

Ann Loughran has been with Horizon from the start, and is the “mammy” of us all! She is involved in credit control and customer service.
